WPL's interactive webinar, entitled “Recovery Schedules -- The Construction Acceleration Hot Potato: Practical and Legal Considerations,” is suited for a wide variety of professionals within the construction community, including schedulers, contractors, subcontractors, public and private owners, construction managers, consultants, architects, and engineers who are involved in construction project management or administration.
Washington, DC (PRWEB) October 12, 2012
Early next month, WPL Publishing will hold a webinar to help construction professionals address issues involving schedule recovery in their projects.
When a contractor falls behind schedule, many owners, with or without a contract clause to rely on, will demand that the contractor submit a recovery schedule to show how it will bring the project back on schedule. This raises several issues, particularly when the reason for the delayed progress is in dispute. The webinar is designed to help construction professionals understand and deal with these issues. To register for the 90-minute event, scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. (EST), visit http://tinyurl.com/9vw9mom.
In addition to informing webinar attendees about best practices in developing a schedule, the program will cover the execution and monitoring of a schedule as well as various legal considerations that ultimately determine who shoulders the costs.
Here are a few of the specific areas that the webinar will examine:
Addressing webinar attendees will be Lewis Baker, a senior partner at Watt, Tieder, Hoffar & Fitzgerald Llp., and Warner Construction Consultants Inc. Vice President Michael Harris.
After their presentations, there will be an interactive 10-to-15 minute question-and-answer session addressing relevant topics.
Webinar tuition is based on location, not number of participants, so each registration site can have multiple participants for one low price. To register, visit http://tinyurl.com/9vw9mom.
