Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney will return to Virginia Friday. Hundreds, even thousands of people are expected to show up for a rally at the Mobility Supercenter in Chesterfield County.
But the location may be problematic for morning commuters. Backups, possible road blocks and a lot of cars trying to park may give driver a big headache.
That is why Chesterfield Police say they will be out in full force, sending out extra patrols to the area.
Cops are advising drivers who are not attending the rally to stay away from the area near the Mobility Supercenter between 9am and 3pm.
Police say roads will not shutdown and there will be two designated parking lots with shuttle service for the rally: one in the Beaufont Mall Shopping Center, near the Popeyes and Virginia College, and the other at the Richmond Outreach Center about two miles east.
For those of you coming out to Romney's rally, there will be attendants telling you where you need to go. Doors open to the public at 9:30 a.m. Romney is expected to speak just after noon.
