National Weather Service in need of weather junkies

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

The National Weather Service plans to offer an advanced storm spotter class in Chesterfield.

The class is for people who have already taken the basic SKYWARN class and still want to learn more about severe weather.

The advanced class will be held October 25 at 6:30 p.m. at the Public Safety Training Center in the Chesterfield County Government Complex.

Skywarn will be held again in the spring.
