A study from Michigan Education Group is raising eyebrows over how Richmond Public Schools spends money.
The study found the school system spent close to $600,000 on items like hotels and travel agent fees.
A spokesperson for Richmond schools tells the Richmond Times-Dispatch the numbers are based on assumption and without context.
