Two people arrested in connection to downtown robbery

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

Richmond Police have arrested two Hanover men in connection with one of the downtown robberies Monday night.

Hanover County deputies and Richmond Police have charged 19-year-old James Banks and 19-year-old Joshua Bryan with robbery and use of a firearm during the armed robbery in the 500 block of East Grace Street.

Banks has also been charged with brandishing a firearm.

Detectives are investigating the other robberies to see if they are connected to the two suspects.

Detectives ask anyone with any information about these crimes to call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000 or text Crime Stoppers at 274637, using the key word "ITip" followed by your tip. Both Crime Stoppers methods are anonymous.
