Delayed opening of the Cumberland street ramp

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

The ramp from Cumberland street to the downtown expressway did not re-open Monday as originally scheduled.
    

The Richmond Metropolitan Authority blames the delay on weather. The ramp has been closed for construction since September 10th.
    

At this time, RMA does not have a new date set for the reopening.
    

RMA will meet with the contractor Wednesday.
