RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -
Police are investigating a deadly shooting on Richmond's southside.
This happened in the 2400 block of Ingram Avenue, in between Jeff Davis Highway and Commerce Road. The shooting happened in this house behind me on Ingram Avenue.
Richmond police were canvassing the neighborhood Monday morning, looking for clues. Shortly before 11:30 p.m., Richmond police received the call for a man shot inside a home. When they got here, they found the victim, a man in his 40's or 50's shot and killed.
As far as we know, there are no suspects and no arrests at this time. There have been almost a dozen fatal shootings in Richmond just in the month of September.
