Suspicious death in Henrico - NBC12.com - Richmond, VA News

Henrico police are now calling a suspicious death in the Lakeside community, a homicide.

Police say the call came in at 6:30 p.m. Sunday for a possible shooting in the 3000 block of Kenwood Avenue. When officers arrived on scene, they found a man bleeding on the ground.

According to police, a bystander performed CPR. The victim was taken to VCU Medical Center, where he later died.

That victim is described only as a man in his 60's, believed to have lived in that neighborhood.

There is no suspect description at this time. Police say they haven't found any bullet casings or a weapon at the scene.
