RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

This is the last chance of the season to clothe your kids for pennies on the dollar - five more consignment sales run this weekend.

Starting in Chesterfield, Kids Closet Consignment is open for business all weekend at the Chesterfield County Fairgrounds. It offers thousands of items for children of all ages.

"Clothes from preemie to juniors, we have toys, we have books, dvds, bedding, bath," said Tracey Deantonio.

You'll find amazing bargains at the Brandermill Church Sale on Saturday. It's got home furnishings, name brand toys and sports gear. One lucky shopper will get a $400 playhouse for $95.

"The folks who are shoppers can feel good that they are spending money and know that the money is going towards charities or families and need," said Elizabeth Ford.

Clothing one child is expensive, but what if you have two, three or four of the same age? This Saturday's mother's of multiples "Everything for Kids" sale at Chickahominy Middle School in Mechanicsville offers sets for twins, triplets, even quads.

"Everyone there has at least two kids, you know there's a good assortment and most of us are just trying to get the things out of our house so we're selling them for pretty cheap," said Rachel Kuchta.

Moving to Gum Spring, next Thursday marks the 14th annual sale for the Oakland Baptist Church. It began as a way to help a few local families in need and now reaches far beyond the walls of the church.

"Not only in our community, we sent items to Katrina, Standing Rock reservation we sent coats to...and a children's ministry in Moldova," said Sherry Alston.

The Threads Consignment Sale at Patterson and Pump begins Saturday and runs all next week. The owners take special care in choosing what is sold.

"You want to find good, quality item at a great price, so that's what we really strive for. Our shoppers get excited, they don't have to pick through. They find all good things," said Ruth Wicks and Susan Dupuis.

These bargain prices go even lower - most of the sales are 50 percent off on the last day.
