PETERSBURG, VA (WWBT) -
The race to the checkout reportedly led to a shooting in Petersburg.
Police say a man wearing a gray sweatshirt and cap shot another man at the Crater Road 7-Eleven early Tuesday morning, after an argument over their place in line.
The victim was hit in the lower torso but is expected to survive. Police believe the two did not know each other.
