YORK CO. VA (WWBT) -
Police in York County have located the mother who, they say, left her newborn baby alone in the woods.
The child was found around 4:30 p.m. Saturday after a passerby heard crying. The baby, who is believed to be no more than a week old, is doing fine.
18-year-old Viktoria Williams has been arrested and charged with felony child neglect.
She is currently being held without bond.
