CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) -
Police have charged a man in relation to the double stabbing on September 15.
Officers responded to an open-line call at 4:30 a.m. in the 4900 block of Brickhaven Drive. They found a woman suffering from knife wounds.
They then spotted 37-year-old Spencer Ford, Jr. leaving the house - he was also suffering from knife wounds.
Both were taken to VCU Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, but are expected to recover.
Ford has been charged with aggravated malicious wounding in relation to the stabbing. Police say the incident was a domestic-related murder-suicide attempt.
