CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) -
Chesterfield police are investigating a double stabbing as an apparent attempted murder-attempted suicide.
At 4:30 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to a home in the 4900 block of Brickhaven Drive after receiving an open line 911 call.
Once on scene, police found a female suffering from knife wounds, then encountered a male exiting the home, also suffering from knife wounds.
Both were taken to VCU Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
Right now, police are not searching for anyone else in connection to this case.
So far, no one has been charged in this case and the investigation is ongoing. If you have any information, you're asked to call Chesterfield County Police at 748-1251.
