CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) -
A Petersburg man is facing several charges for his alleged role in a scary incident at a Chesterfield motel.
Police say Royal Briggs and another person were involved in a robbery at the VIP Inn. Police say Briggs and his accomplice entered the victim's room, demanding money. One of them had a gun.
Police say they took cash from the victim then forced him into the bathroom. No one was seriously hurt.
No word if the second suspect was caught.
