ATLANTA, GA (WWBT) - Elliott Sadler is expected to be with a new race team come the 2013 season, after his team owner implied he would not return on Sunday.
Richard Childress said during his appearence on Sirius/XM Radio that he did not have a deal in place with Sadler for 2013 or beyond and that he would most likely end up somewhere else next season. The Emporia native joined Richard Childress Racing following the 2011 season. Some speculate he could wind up at Joe Gibbs racing for 2013.
Sadler is putting together the finest season of his career on the Nationwide circuit. In 24 starts, he has four wins, eleven top five finishes and 18 top ten finishes.
Sadler returns to his home state on Friday when he hits the track for the Nationwide race at Richmond International Raceway.
