Republican vice-presidential nominee Paul Ryan campaigned in Richmond Friday.
Republican Presidential nominee Mitt Romney changed his itinerary for Friday, canceling a visit to Richmond in favor of a tour of Isaac-damaged areas in Louisiana.
Romney was expected to return to campaign in Virginia, fresh off his official nomination at the Republic National Convention Thursday night. However, early Friday Romney staffers announced the change in plans.
Ryan spent a good deal of his speech touting Romney's success, while still taking jabs at Pres. Obama. Ryan was joined by House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, Lt. Gov. Bill Bolling, Senate candidate George Allen and Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli. Ryan's mother was also at the event.
