Nearly one year after the 5-point-8 Louisa quake, we're learning new information about the damage at the Washington Monument. A new report says that the monument didn't sink after the quake.

Attorneys for George Huguely are due in Charlottesville Circuit Court today bidding to have his second-degree murder charge set aside in the slaying of Yeardley Love. We will keep you posted on the case.

Plus, we are learning this morning that Benedictine College Preparatory leaders are involved in a lawsuit over the school's move to Goochland.

The alleged conspirators behind the September 11th attacks are due in court today. Accused mastermind "Khalid Sheikh Mohammed" and four others will appear in a pre-trial hearing. They face charges including terrorism and murder and could face the death penalty if convicted.
