Good news for state employees, a bonus check is headed their way. The Governor plans to make the announcement today. He will address the Money Committees of The General Assembly, officially announcing the three percent bonus.
Opposition is growing over the Governor's plan to toll I-95 in Sussex County. So far, nine localities have passed resolutions against the proposal. Today, government leaders along the I-95 corridor will gather to lay out how they'll work to put the brakes on the plan.
Some lucky person could win more than 300 million dollars this week. The jackpot for the Powerball Lottery now sits at 320 million dollars. Lottery workers expect long lines today. The winning numbers will be selected tonight.
