Four Shot, One Dead

Good Tuesday morning from Gray. Here is a look at some of the stories we are working for 12 News Today.

Richmond Police are busy this morning investigating four shootings that happened late last night.Officers responded to four separate shootings in less than three hours! One man is dead and at least three other people are injured after the shootings. So far no one is in custody. We are live with an update.

George Huguely's legal team hits a major roadblock just days before his sentencing. A judge denies their request to delay Huguely's sentencing. Defense Attorneys wanted to stall sentencing to give them more time to make the case for a new trial. A Charlottesville Circuit Court Judge said the second-degree murder case needs to stay on track.

Today, a grand jury will take up the case against the man accused of terrorizing a Powhatan teacher in her home, kidnapping her and leaving her for dead on the side of the road. 29-year-old James Wolfe allegedly broke into Mary Anderson's home -- beat her with a meat cleaver, and forced her to drive to an ATM to withdraw money.
