It is a sickness that parents hope there kids never get, but whopping cough is making a comeback and it is something you need to be careful of.

It start as a typical cold, but the coughing is severe and persists for up to 10 weeks.
It is prevented by getting the immunization called TDAP. It should be updated every 10 years.
If you are overdue for the TDAP immunization or have a persistent cough, see your doctor.
