
James River High School alum Kellie Wells won a bronze medal Tuesday in the women's 100m hurdles.
Australian Sally Pearson won gold with an Olympic record time of 12.35, American Dawn Harper finished just .02 seconds behind for silver. Wells came in third at 12.48 seconds.
Wells finished first in her qualifying heat Monday and in the semifinal heat earlier Tuesday to qualify for the finals.
The event will be included as part of NBC's primetime coverage.
