
Pictures from the crashMore charges have been filed against the driver police say is responsible for a deadly car crash in Hanover County.
The crash happened off Pole Green Road near Lee Davis Road back in June.
The Sheriff's office has now charged one of the drivers with aggravated involuntary manslaughter.
The Hanover County Sheriff's Office says 56-year-old Richard Lawrence was behind the wheel when his red Saab crossed the center line of Pole Green Road and slammed into another car. Lawrence's passenger, Mary Hoover, died from her injuries at VCU Medical Center.
The woman and three children in the other car have all been released from the hospital.
These new charges come after investigators have spent weeks trying to find someone in a bluish green pickup truck that was seen getting into an argument with Lawrence shortly before the accident.
Aggravated involuntary manslaughter is a felony. Lawrence now faces up to 20 years in prison. he's currently free on bond and will be appearing in court in September.
