Taylor, Team USA fall to Australia

James River product Shannon Taylor and her Team USA Field Hockey teammates have found their backs against the wall.  After an upset of Argentina on Tuesday, the Americans could not fend off Australia, which sent them to a 1-0 defeat on Thursday morning.

Anna Flanagan scored the only goal of the game, scoring on a penalty corner in the 33rd minute.  Taylor played 50 minutes, but she was not able to find the back of the cage, as she had against Argentina.  The loss drops Team USA to 1-2 in pool play and the Americans will face New Zealand on Saturday at 2:00pm ET.
