Victim’s family throws first pitch

PRINCE GEORGE, VA (WWBT) - The Prince George County Department of Parks and Recreation honored a ten-year-old who died in a tubing accident, last weekend.

Grayson Austin's younger brother threw out the first pitch during the nine and ten-year-old all star tournament Saturday morning.

His parents joined their son on the field and his his mom wore Grayson's baseball jersey, number twelve.

They tell us Grayson lived life to the fullest. He was a great kid and all-around athlete. They thank the community for their outpour of support.

The nine-year-old, Jackson Matthews, who was also in the tubing accident is still recovering.
