George HuguelyRICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -
Cameras will not be allowed in court for the sentencing of George Huguely in the murder of Yeardley Love, a judge ruled Wednesday.
Huguely was convicted of second degree murder in the alcohol-fueled beating death of his girlfriend.
Huguely recently tried to contact Love's family and is seeking a new murder trial. His lawyers argue that prosecutors knew and withheld the fact that Love's family was going to file a $30-million lawsuit against Huguely. They argue that information could have changed the jury's decision.
A hearing is scheduled for next week.
