Dr. William Ferrar is dealing summer viruses that are many times a mixture of gastrointestinal and upper respiratory with a tendency for a bad case of the body aches.
To prevent the problem, wash your hands frequently with soap and water.
Liquids, ibuprofen, acetaminophen and aspirin will help symptoms temporarily as will lozenges and cough syrups. If you don't improve after about five days or you have worse symptoms than usual, see your doctor.
