Trucker attacked in Henrico County - NBC12.com - Richmond, VA News

A truck driver in Henrico County says five men forced him out of his truck, then bound and gagged him, leaving him by the side of the road.  

It happened near Technology Park Drive and Jeb Stuart Parkway, not far from Virginia Center Commons Mall.

It took hours for the victim to get help and police said they're still looking for the people who did it.

The trucker told police five men forced him out of his truck, bound him, gagged him, and left him on the side of the road. Police say the suspects drove off with the victim's truck. Meanwhile, the driver had to try to inch up and find help.

It wasn't until several hours later that the driver was found up the road near Virginia Center Commons. Police said a passerby found him and called police.

Police found the truck later near Virginia Center Commons. They aren't revealing what the truck was hauling, but say they're still trying to figure out what was taken.

The victim was taken to the hospital to be checked over but is expected to be ok. Police still need a lot more information about what happened. If you know anything, call Henrico Police.
