Chesterfield Police are on the lookout for a driver pretending to be a police officer.
The impersonator was reported around 7:30 Wednesday night on River Road.
A man said a driver came up behind him, flashing red, white, and blue lights.
Police also said the impersonator was driving erratically — pulling his car up behind and then right next to the victim, yelling at him.
The victim reportedly pulled over twice — at a library and a county store.
Police say the flashing lights were in the front grill of the suspect's car, which is described as a dark red, possibly late 1990s Lexus with tinted windows.
