RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Bradford Burgess failed to play for the second consecutive day while two former Richmond Spider standouts logged significant minutes for the Orlando Magic's summer-league team on Tuesday.
Last year's 32nd overall pick, Justin Harper, followed up his impressive debut with a poor shooting performance earlier this afternoon against Detroit. The second-year player from Richmond shot 2-12 from the field and finished with seven points and seven rebounds in 30 minutes.
Harper's former U of R teammate was a bit more successful after struggling in Orlando's first summer-league game Monday. Kevin Anderson overcame a dreadful Monday to drop 11 points on 4-5 shooting, adding three assists in just ten minutes of play this afternoon.
VCU product Bradford Burgess failed to touch the floor for the second straight game and the Magic fell to 1-1 on the summer after a 79-74 loss to Detroit.
The Magic will host the Utah Jazz Wednesday at 5:00 p.m.
