HENRICO, VA (WWBT) -

Two people were hurt when a car crashed into the lobby of a west end dialysis center.

The crash occurred just after 10:30 a.m. at DaVita Dialysis, located in the 8800 block of Three Chopt Road. The people who were injured were sitting the lobby. One of them suffered life-threatening injuries, police said.

Danielle Miller works at Melito's, the restaurant next door.

"It was scary. I was like, 'Oh my gosh.' We saw that the window was completely shattered, but it had been pulled out of the building by then," Miller said.

Police did not identify the driver, who was not injured. The injured people also were not identified. Police did not say if charges would be filed.

A building inspector deemed the building to be structurally safe, but Three Chopt patients will be rescheduled to other DaVita Dialysis clinics for their medical needs.

Police did not provide an explanation as to how the crash occurred, citing the ongoing investigation.
