Dr. David Boyd is treating men with postpartum depression. Women often struggle with it after giving birth, but postpartum depression is increasingly recognized in men.
Recent studies found that the prevalence of paternal birth-related depression from the infant's birth to three months was 8 percent, from three to six months was 26 percent, and from six to 12 months was 9 percent.
See your doctor if fatigue, loss of interests in activities and sadness persist.
