Left field wall destroyed by stormsFireworks, cookouts and fun with friends and family are just some ways people will enjoy the Fourth of July holiday.
The Flying Squirrels are playing a baseball game Wednesday and then having a fireworks show.
Workers had to put in overtime to make sure the show could go on after storms destroyed the left field wall. Crews surveyed the damage and went right to work fixing it. The final materials were delivered Monday and the repairs were finished Monday night.
Tickets for Wednesday's game are sold out. There will be another fireworks extravaganza at the Diamond Thursday night and again Friday night.
