
West End fondling suspect (Source: Henrico Police)Henrico Police need your help finding the man who they say fondled a woman at a west end store.
On Saturday afternoon, officers were called to a retail store in the 9800 block of W. Broad St. Company officials later confirmed the crime took place inside a Michael's at that address.
An adult female customer said that she was fondled inside the store, according to police.
The suspect, whose face was captured on surveillance video, was described by police as standing 5'11"-6'2", 220-240 pounds, wearing an orange t-shirt, checkered collared shirt, shorts, and a baseball hat.
"I really want to ask our viewers to take a really good look at this picture. We really need their help, because we want to make sure that this doesn't happen to anyone else," said Lt. Linda Toney with Henrico Police.
Toney said that the victim in this case did the right thing.
"Make sure that you draw attention to yourself. Ask someone to call police. If you're nervous or scared and want to wait until they walk away, do it right away as soon as you can," she said, adding, "Look at them. Look at what they're wearing. If they do get into a vehicle get a description of the vehicle and license plate and give that to us."
In this case, police say the suspect fled on foot.
