Maynor's knee getting stronger

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Eric Maynor had a rough year.  The VCU legend injured his knee in just the 9th game of the season.  And then he had to watch from the sidelines, as his Oklahoma City Thunder won the Western Conference.

Maynor is hoping things are shaping up for the better next season.  He was back in Richmond this week to help out with Shaka Smart's Basketball Camp at the Siegel Center.  Maynor says his knee is getting stronger, but he would not put a percentage on how he feels.

Maynor was in trade rumors prior to the NBA draft, but he says that he loves being a member of the Thunder, and hopes he has a long future in Oklahoma City.  He also says they've stood by him, while he's had to sit the bench all season.

Maynor has averaged 4 points and 3 assists in his three NBA seasons.
