CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) -
Police have released the identities of those involved in a deadly crash on 288 Friday afternoon.
38-year-old James Cullop was driving a tow truck headed south towards I-95 around 12:30 p.m.
Witnesses said the tow truck crossed the median, drove around 100 yards and collided into the SUV of 51-year-old Debra Allen.
Allen was pronounced dead at the scene. Cullop was taken to VCU Medical Center with serious, life-threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
