WILLIAMSBURG, VA (WWBT) - During the NFL season, it's hard to turn on the television or radio without hearing Tim Tebow's name. At one point last season, NFL fans bought more of Tebow's jersey than any other player, and on Monday, that popularity hit William & Mary.
Tebow was a guest at the Tribe All-Pro Football camp on Monday afternoon. The Jets' quarterback taking his time to run through drills with the campers and talk to them about football and life as well. Tebow visited with high school-aged players first, before spending time with the younger players. He also took time to answer their questions, and feels that one of the most important things is being a good role model.
In addition to Tebow, Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald paid a visit to the camp during Monday's morning session. Tuesday's guest will be Giants' wide receiver Victor Cruz.
The Tribe All-Pro Football Camp is for ages eight through rising seniors in high school.
