But that doesn't mean it can't happen. Dr. Patrick Woodward is helping patients with summer colds at Parham Primary Care.
This past week has brought in a slew of people with similar respiratory complaints.
Frequently, but not always, dizziness, followed by sore throat is the initial symptom. Headache is common, with nasal congestion in some cases. The hallmark of this illness however, is cough.
If symptoms last more than about 5 days, Dr. Woodward will prescribe an antibiotic.
