Richmond VA (WWBT)- Former James River High School runner, Kellie Wells, will be heading to London for the 2012 Olympics. Wells qualified today in the 110m hurdles in Eugene, OR.
Wells made it to the finals of the 110m hurdles Olympic Trials where she finished second with a time of 12.77 seconds. The top three in the event qualified for the Olympics.
Former Hermitage High School runner, Queen Harrison, did not qualify for the Olympics in the same event. Harrison did not make it past the qualifying semifinals. Fortunately for Harrison, she will have another opportunity to qualify for the Olympics when she competes in the 400m hurdles.
