Horses wander on I-64 in New Kent

NEW KENT, VA (WWBT) -

A traffic alert for drivers in New Kent. State police warned drivers Friday morning to watch out for some horses that are wandering on I-64.

State police said this happened on the eastbound lanes of I-64, between Emmaus Church Road and North Courthouse Road.

New Kent County Police also worked with state police to try and help the horses and avoid traffic problems.
