Parents learn of sex crimes involving daughter on Father's Day

AUGUSTA, VA (WWBT) -

A Virginia man is in jail, charged with having a four-month sexual relationship with an underage girl.

Augusta County police arrested 40-year-old Kevin Snyder after the girl confessed to the illegal relationship.

Police say Snyder began a relationship with the 13-year-old girl back in February, but the girl waited until Father's Day to confess to her parents.

Snyder now faces nine felonies, including five counts of carnal knowledge.
