UVA hoops releases ACC matchups

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (WWBT) - University of Virginia announced its tentative men's basketball schedule for 2012-13 Atlantic Coast Conference games.

While exact dates and times currently remain unknown, the Cavaliers and their fans now know who they will be playing and where they will be traveling during the ACC's first 18-game league slate.

Fortunately for UVA, they won't be playing in PNC arena or Cameron Indoor Stadium. Instead, two of the conference's toughest teams, Duke and NC State, will visit John Paul Jones Arena for their only matchup against the Cavaliers. UVA will play home-and-homes with Boston College, Clemson, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Maryland, North Carolina, Virginia Tech, while playing road-only games at Wake Forest and Miami. The Cavaliers will also have a road game at Wisconsin on Nov. 28 as a part of the ACC/BIG Ten challenge; however, the remainder of the non-conference schedule has not yet been unveiled.

The 2013 ACC Tournament will be held March 14-17 at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, NC. Virginia Tech has not yet released their schedule.
