"Lincoln" movie brings in big bucks to Central Virginia

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

The production of Steven Spielberg's "Lincoln" movie brought millions of dollars to the area.

According to the Virginia Film Office, the economic impact for the Richmond and Petersburg areas could swell to $64.1 million.

The movie stars Daniel Day-Lewis as Lincoln and Sally Field as Mary Todd Lincoln.

More than 400 Virginia crew members worked on the film along with hundred of extras.
