A building in Midlothian was destroyed Sunday morning when it caught fire.
Firefighters responded around 5:30 a.m. and saw heavy flames and thick smoke coming from the building.
It happened in the 13200 block of Midlothian Turnpike. The building appeared to be empty and may have been a former antique store.
Midlothian Turnpike was closed for a short time while crews battled the fire.
The cause is under investigation.
