Richmond, VA (WWBT)- Friday's VCU Board of Visitors meeting saw no decisions made on the future of Ram athletics in terms of a conference home.
The board did discuss a conference shift during its closed sessions, but VCU President Michael Rao or Interim Athletics Director David Benedict did not give any details, due to the closed door status of the meeting. Rao did confirm that no decisions have been made regarding what the Rams will do in terms of a conference. He said right now the board continues to evaluate its options, and VCU should have a more clear sense in the coming weeks.
While VCU did not make any decisions, CAA rival George Mason did. The Patriots announced on Friday that they will remain in the CAA and not go to the Atlantic 10.
