A former Police and Volunteer Fire Chief will be in court Tuesday.
Mark McGheen once worked for Louisa County, but is now accused of an embezzlement scheme. Investigators say thousands of dollars are now gone from the Trevilans Volunteer Fire Department's budget.
McGhee resigned before the investigation started. When NBC12 asked McGhee about the chargers back in February, he refused to comment.
Once a leader in the community, McGhee also served as the acting Louisa Police Chief and is now on administrative leave.
