HENRICO, VA (WWBT) - Police are looking for a hit-and-run driver after an 8-year-old boy was struck in front of his home in the Tree House apartments on Pony Farm Drive.
Police say little Deven Bradley appeared to be fine moments after the accident but we learned that Bradley's grandmother took him to the hospital just to make sure.
Police say it is unlikely speed was a factor in the accident, but eyewitnesses say the driver appeared to be going faster than the 15 mph speed limit in the apartment community.
Eyewitnesses say the vehicle appears to be a beige or gold colored Astro Van or Dodge Caravan.
It was last seen going down Wilkinson road then Chamberlayne Road.
