RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

Now is a great time to buy a home in the Richmond area.

Prices and interest rates are low. If you're looking for a little help buying a new home, you're in luck.

The Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America (NACA) will be at the Richmond Convention Center Thursday morning.

NACA was in Richmond back in December helping families struggling with foreclosure. Now they're back and expanding its program to help families looking to buy a new home too.

It will run from 8:00 a.m. Thursday until 8:00 p.m. that night. This will be going on through Monday. The event is free.

Walk-ins are welcome, but NACA says you can save a lot of time by registering ahead of time at NACA.com.
