CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) - The victim of a deadly overnight shooting has been identified as 17-year-old Tre Antonio Walton by Chesterfield Police.
The shooting happened just after 10:00 p.m. Sunday in the 4000 block of Hailey Crescent Drive. That is near where the old Costco used to be on Hull Street. Detectives are in the very early stages of their investigation.
Police say the Manchester High School student was found in a breezeway of one of the apartment buildings. He died after going to Chippenham Hospital.
