RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Which would you choose if you could have a million dollars or perpetual good health? Some of us would choose the million dollars, but many of you know that the better choice is good health. We truly do not appreciate how sacred good health is until we lose it or watch someone we love really suffer.
There are many reasons for poor health. Some of it is due to bad healthcare policy, some of it is due to bad lifestyle choices and some of it is due to plain old genetics.
I recently stopped making excuses and got back into the gym. If the gym is not your cup of tea, take a daily walk. I also realized that I needed to watch my food choices if I really wanted to drop a few pounds to get ready for the summer. But the reality is that doing nothing is a choice as well. Take a look, if you like what you see, you are probably doing some things right, if you don't like what you see take a small step forward to being the change in your own life. You have a personal obligation to take your health seriously. And you definitely have an obligation to take your children's health seriously.
So where can you start. Here's an opportunity to bring government and the people together on great project. On Saturday, April 28th, you need to attend the Get Healthy – Say Healthy" Health Expo at the Greater Richmond Convention center. And for you Biggest Loser Fans, Dolvett Quince will be there too.
