UVA baseball coming to Diamond

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - VCU and UVA both were down a game because of rainouts - so now there will be a rematch of the most attended game in state history.

The Cavs and Rams will play in a previously unscheduled game on April 25th. The game will be played at 7 p.m. at The Diamond in Richmond.

The new game replaces the Cavaliers' March 2 game against Wright State, which was canceled because of inclement weather.

Virginia and VCU also played last season at The Diamond, and a state-record 5,421 spectators attended.

UVa and VCU also are slated to play on May 15 in Charlottesville.
